April 2026 eToro Portfolio Update (PassionForProfit)

Hello Copiers, Followers, and eTorians,

Here is my portfolio update for April 2026.

April was a very strong month for my portfolio, closing at +18.01%, in line with a highly positive broader market environment.

Performance Overview

  • April: +18.01%
  • 2025 performance: +5.35%
  • 2024 Performance: +46.68%
  • Risk Score: 3
  • Active Copiers: 14

US Market Recap

  • S&P 500: +10.42%

  • Dow Jones: +7.14%

  • Nasdaq: +15.29%

All three major US indices recorded solid gains in April 2026, reflecting a strong return of risk appetite across global markets.

Key Market Drivers

Geopolitical relief after the US-Iran ceasefire
The strongest catalyst was the temporary US-Iran ceasefire, which eased fears of a broader Middle East conflict and reduced concerns over energy supply disruptions. Oil prices declined after the truce, supporting a strong risk-on environment and lifting global equities, particularly in the US.

Strong earnings season, led by tech and AI-related stocks
US equities were supported by a solid earnings season, with a large majority of companies beating expectations. Growth in AI and tech continued to drive momentum, pushing the Nasdaq significantly higher and supporting overall market performance.

Macro resilience despite persistent inflation
While inflation remained somewhat elevated, markets focused on the resilience of the US economy. Growth remained stable and the Federal Reserve maintained a cautious stance, avoiding any aggressive tightening, which helped sustain positive sentiment.

Positive momentum in the crypto market
The crypto market also experienced a strong recovery during April, supported by improved risk sentiment and increased institutional interest. Bitcoin and major altcoins moved higher alongside equities, reinforcing the broader risk-on environment across asset classes.

Portfolio Snapshot

  • 9% Stocks

  • 11% ETFs

  • 9% Crypto

  • 71% Cash

During April, I made a significant adjustment to the portfolio by reducing exposure and closing several positions. This allowed me to lock in profits after the recent market strength and rebalance the overall allocation.

As a result, the cash position increased to around 70%, and the risk score was reduced from 5 to 3. I believe this positioning is more appropriate at this stage, providing a more balanced approach between capital preservation and future opportunities.

Outlook for May

Looking ahead to May, the market will continue to be driven by a combination of macroeconomic data, monetary policy expectations, and geopolitical developments.

Particular attention will be on upcoming inflation data and any signals from the Federal Reserve. If inflation shows signs of stabilizing, this could reinforce expectations of a more supportive policy stance later in the year and continue to support equities.

At the same time, after such a strong rally in April, it would not be surprising to see a phase of consolidation, especially in the technology sector, as investors reassess valuations and take partial profits.

Geopolitical dynamics will also remain a key variable. The recent easing of tensions in the Middle East has been a major positive catalyst, and maintaining this stability will be important to keep energy prices under control and preserve market confidence.

Finally, the crypto market is likely to remain closely linked to overall risk sentiment. If the current risk-on environment continues, the sector could see further upside, although volatility is expected to remain a constant factor.

Recommendations for Copiers

If you are considering copying my portfolio, here are a few tips to make the most of it:

  • Invest a minimum of $2,000: This helps ensure proper diversification and better mirrors my portfolio structure.

  • Focus on the long term: Keeping the copy open over time allows you to benefit from compounding and market recoveries.

  • Starting smaller: You can begin with a lower amount and add funds later as your confidence grows.

Now is still an excellent time to start copying my portfolio, or to add more funds if you are already a copier.

Thank You

I would like to sincerely thank all my copiers for your continued trust and support.
