Hello and welcome to the June 2023 eToro Portfolio Update.
My eToro username is PassionForProfit.
Macro stats
The risk score of my portfolio is 3, which is very low.
Currently, 12 people are copying my portfolio.
I am a Cadet Popular Investor.
Annual performances
My portfolio in June has gone down by 1.54%.
Monthly Update
June has been a positive month for the US stock market.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index has gone up by 6.49%, the S&P 500 Index has gained 6.47% and the Dow Jones closed the month with a positive performance of +4.54%.
The technology sector has driven the positive movement, especially the big tech companies such as Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Google and NVIDIA that have been largely bought by traders because of their investments in Artificial Intelligence.
Forecast
The events that will impact the US stock markets this week, after the Indipence Day’s celebrations closures, are the following:
- the latest FOMC minutes, when the Federal Reserve paused its rate hikes after 10 consecutive increases. During his last appearance Jerome Powell, Fed’s Chairman said that inflation must return to its 2% target so it is likely another rate increase.
- the non-farm payrolls report for the month of June, which will be released next Friday, is a crucial indicator to understand the level of occupation and consequentially the consumer spending and inflation level.
At this time investors are extremely bullish however since the market is testing new highs it is important to start getting cautious.
Asset Allocation
The current asset allocation of my portfolio is:
- 29% Stocks
- 40% ETFs
- 31% Cash
Strategy Update
Last month I closed in profit one short position and I have opened a few new long positions, which are already in profit.
I have mainly long positions in stocks open in my portfolio, but the short positions still open are reducing the profits at the moment, however, I will change asset allocation shortly and rebalance the portfolio.
I have some cash in my balance, which I will use to open new positions at the right time.
The risk score of my portfolio remains at level 3.
Recommendations
These are my recommendations for copiers and anyone who wants to invest in my portfolio:
1. Be patient and remain calm
2. Keep the copy open for long term
3. Invest more than 1000 USD
If you have less than 1000 USD, you can start with a lower amount now and add more later.
If you can, keep adding funds to the copy every month.

My 2023 goals are:
- To close this year in profit
- Keeping the risk score low
- To become a Champion Popular Investor

In Summary, last month my portfolio closed negative.
The portfolio risk score is low and remains at level 3.
I am expecting 2023 to be a positive year for my portfolio.
