Hello and welcome to May 2022 eToro Portfolio Update.
My username is PassionForProfit.
My portfolio in May has gone down by 5%.
Currently, 13 people are copying my portfolio.
I am a Cadet Popular Investor.
These are the monthly and annual performances of my portfolio.
As you saw from the previous slides, the month of May closed in negative with a decline of 5%
The markets remain very volatile due to high inflation and Fed monetary policy decisions to hike interest rates and start the reduction of the balance sheet.
The S&P 500 index had a rally of 10%, last week.
It’s currently holding the support line, which is positive.
However, I believe that this is just a relief rally, following 8 negative weeks in a row.
I’m expecting the market to continue the rally until it reaches the 50-day moving average.
Since the market is still trading inside a defined downtrend, I expect the price to continue to the downside for a while.
However, don’t worry, I am taking some actions to reduce the drawdown of the portfolio and take advantage of this decline.
The current asset allocation of my portfolio is:
46% Stocks
50% ETFs
4% Cash
Based on my forecast and analysis, I made some small changes to the portfolio.
I am gradually closing some positions in profit, so I am reducing the exposure to equities and I am reducing the risk of the portfolio.
I am also adding gradually some short positions because I am expecting another leg down on the market.
These are my recommendations for copiers and anyone who wants to invest in my portfolio:
– Be patient and remain calm
– Keep the copy open for long term
– Invest at least 1000 USD
My 2022 goals are:
– To close the year in profit
– To reduce the risk score to 5
– To become a Champion Popular Investor.
In Summary, May has been a negative month, however, I made changes to the portfolio, based on the current market conditions, that are going to generate more profit in the upcoming months.
